Taurine, chemically known as 2-aminoethanesulfonic acid, is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is widely distributed in animal tissues. It has the molecular formula of C2H7NO3S and a molecular weight of 125.15.

It has many biological roles in animals, such as conjugation of bile acids, antioxidation, membrane stabilization, cell volume regulation, and osmoregulation. It is essential for the function of neurotransmitters, glycolysis and gluconeogenesis, growth regulation, vision, and calcium homeostasis.

Product Features

Added to chicken feed, taurine can improve egg production, reduce feed-to-egg ratio, and improve egg quality. Added to fish feed, taurine can promote the growth of tilapia and increase the taurine content in fish. Added to broiler feed, taurine can increase broiler weight and reduce feed conversion rate. Added to broiler feed (2kg/t), taurine can greatly reduce the oxidation of liver and intestine and promote weight gain and feed conversion of boilers.
